 LOOKING FOR TRAFFIC?... SEE HOW TO GET MORE VIEWS AND ACTIONS TO YOUR ONLINE CONTENT

It doesn’t matter if you are a Business Owner, Blogger, YouTube manager or just another fun lover like me. We all need traffic… By traffic, I mean the number of people that gets to see your content. This is very important…
After optimizing your content for Search engines (SEO) and maybe running sponsored Ads (Paying for Views), you don’t just stop there… You need go fetch more traffic while the SEO does its own. So, in this post, I’m going to outline some of the major places to get traffic and channel up views and actions to your blog.
1.     Google+
2.    Google Forums
3.    Facebook
4.    Forums
5.    Guest-Blogging
6.    Twitter, BBM, Instagram
7.    WhatsApp etc…
The list above has been my major source of traffic to my Blogs (X3coded.com and Godson Obiazi’s Blog)
 1. The Number one in the list is Google Plus (Google+): with over million+ Members, Groups and Forums ; Each of this group ¬and forums having specified niche which can be derived from the group name and title.  So, to get the best from Google+ and channel views and actions to your content, you need to join groups that are related to your niche or content structure. Dropping Spammy Links on Google Plus is a very bad PRACTICE! – Don’t do it!

2. Google Forums: – If you are tutorial blogger or digital marketer, Google Forums is one of the best places to gain traffic to your content or blog post by participating in forum activities and answering questions from your niche and dropping related links. This is important as Google Forum posts are trusted and ranked high in search but be careful not to drop spammy links as it is against Google policies. The penalties of Spammy links are not a good thing to experience so, do all you can to avoid it!.

3. Facebook -  This is another best place for traffic with over Billion+ Members and Groups. You get the best from Facebook if you are an admin to a Page or Group with a large number of followers, Page Like and Group Members.

Don’t rely on posting or sharing to Facebook Groups as Facebook Management has restrictions on the number of posts and the kind of posts you can share to groups compared to the freedom you enjoy with sharing to your Admin Pages. So, focus more on Growing your Facebook Pages and Growing your Page like and Followers.

4. Forums: – I must say “Never under-estimate the power of Forums” this is because forums like Nairaland rank very high in search engines and your posts remain on their server for a lifetime except if your post is found to be spammy or violates the forum privacy policy. Most Bloggers, YouTubers, Digital Marketers and Other Online based entrepreneurs have never stopped emphasizing on the power of forums in their online activities.

Joining and Participating in forums are Free, Easy and won’t take up much time.

5. Guest Posting (The Win-Win Solution): – Though I’m not much into guest posting for other blogs but I do guest posts for my friend and those I have built and designed website and blogs for. Some of which are gisticsbase.com.ng, specialmata.com.ng and many others. I call it a Win-Win solution because, You help by adding new posts to other blogs and in return you get backlinks cause most blogs that allow guest posts also allow for back linking… (Such as: Click for more Updates)

6. Twitter, BBM, Instagram: - These social media channels are very beneficial as they help create more post engagements. But for you to enjoy its maximum benefits, you need to grow your number of followers.
 The more your followers = the more people that gets notified anytime you make a new post = the more reactions you stand to get

7. WhatsApp: This is one of the major places where new bloggers love to gain traffic. They rely on whatsApp Groups and constantly keep Spamming up links. Well, though the admins may not remove you immediately but I still have something to tell you – “You are wasting your time and Data!”

There’s no need joining whatsApp Groups that have no relation to what you wish to share…
And let me tell you some of the disadvantages of Joining Unnecessary WhatsApp groups:
1.    You get hundred’s of unnecessary post notifications of which I find very annoying…
2.    You get to use up more Data than you are supposed of which most of your links shared will be ignored due to the way new posts are being synchronized.
3.    There’s no SEO Benefits: On my dashboard as a blogger since November 2016, I have never seen anything like WhatsApp as my Traffic sources. So be wise and utilize the Number One to six (1-6) of this Guide
If for any reason you need to make use of whatsApp, Then Join groups that will be beneficial.

   What You should know about Sharing Posts to Groups on Facebook As fun as it can be to share post to Facebook groups, The C.E.O of Facebook.com ( Mark Zuckerberg ) has placed restrictions to limit the number of post you can share daily. To my own understanding, I believe this is important to enable him promote sponsored posts and other adverts. This is what you get for Violating Facebook Policy by sharing a large Number of post.  If your account is noted to share a large volume of posts to groups daily, it will be restricted from group activities for like a week or a month depending on Facebook terms. That's when you will get a message like the one above stating that you are temporarily disabled from posting to groups.
