As Lucrative and well paying as blogging can be, I must say that it is not that easy for startups or new bloggers - most especially if you are not yet financially stable. Most new bloggers make the mistake of quitting their Jobs after learning about the huge sum of money most top bloggers like Linda Ikeji, Jide Ogunsanya and others earn online. This is indeed a big mistake as blogging is also a kind of business that needs Investment. Investment in terms of time and Finance!
Most New bloggers focus too much on blogging and trust their blog to make them rich quickly. When this fails, they end up feeling frustrated and quit their blogging career.  Blogging is not a get rich quick scheme or business. The earlier you know this, the better for you.

1. Blogging is a easy way to make extra cash by doing what you love and updating the internet.

3. Blogging needs time, patience and financial investments
4. Make sure to choose the right Platform for your blog (WordPress, Blogger, Joomla etc). 5. Don’t rush into quitting your Job unless you are sure you are already earning enough money that can sustain you and your blogging career from your blog.
6. The internet evolves almost all the time and you need to evolve with it.
7. You need to learn how to relate with the internet and its users
8. You need to stay updated with internet trends
9. Every niche in blogging has its strategies. So, you need to follow successful bloggers in your niche and do yourself the good of subscribing to their newsletters as this will help you grow faster in your blogging career.
10. Don’t hope too much on Adsense and other advertising media because they can be sometimes very frustrating and their policies are sometimes very annoying.
11. Always try out different income streams irrespective of what niche your blog is based on.
12. Learn how to relate with social media channels as this will have an elevating effect on your traffic and income streams
